In September, 2006, Ken & Cathy Heineken, who for over thirty years had owned a medium-sized advertising and pr firm in Maryland, released their golf book titled, Kentucky Golf.

Kentucky Golf is a handy, golfer friendly, 60 page full color book listing all public and semi-private golf courses throughout the State of Kentucky. Included is valuable course information and sightseeing opportunities in each of the nine regions of Kentucky.

In September 2005, Ken and Cathy moved to Georgetown, Kentucky to be closer to their family. Heineken recalls, “I really wasn’t doing that much here in the way of advertising. And I was looking around for something to do. It didn’t take long to find out that there was not a golf book in Kentucky even though the state had over 200 public and semi-private courses. Kentucky golf courses way outnumbered those in Maryland.” With that Kentucky Golf was launched after months of research.
